Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, presided over the largest government-sanctioned sexual assault program in American history this year. Under the pretenses of “airport security” the DHS, with a success rate of catching terrorists of zero per cent, molested, groped and sexually assaulted thousands of travellers all over America.
The assaults were so invasive, in fact, that the American Civil Liberties Union has created a database of the most shocking stories of their experiences. Here are a few selections (you can see the whole list yourself at the link) that include graphic language and allegations of vaginal penetration:

As I got closer to the scanner, I could clearly hear him say “got a cute one, some DD’s.” … I was appalled and decided at that point to “opt out” of the scanner…. I was then put through the pat down procedure which I only can only describe as sexual assault.
All of this, and for what? Because a Nigerian kid, whose own father warned the Americans he was a terrorist, got a flight to the United States without proper identification? What happens when the next terrorist manages to get past security with a bomb material inserted in an orifice? Will there be rape rooms in airports?
This idea that people can be hired for meager wages and are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner, is patently ridiculous. Of course you’re going to get the closet pedophiles, sadists and sexual predators applying for the jobs. Making it legal to see people naked or grope them and still get paid for it has to be a huge perk for some twisted individuals.
The frightening thing is that the Obama administration is nothing if not even more paranoid than the last one that was mocked for their ridiculous colour-coded terrorist alert system. An intelligence network that has failed as many times as the U.S. has no business assessing risk. Napolitano even floated the ridiculous idea of moving the pat-downs to trains, buses and ships.
It’s a cliché bordering on pop culture humour but it’s true. The terrorists have definitely won.
Maximally intrusive searched of the least likely to be a threat: Yes very effective use of security measures while at the same time not looking too closely at likely threats to avoid being accused of profiling. ( sarcasm ).
Never use common sense when stupidity is much easier to implement !

Did anyone here read the story about the soldiers coming back from Afghanistan? They were all carrying FULL AUTOMATIC WEAPONS, including grenade launchers. The planes cargo hold had been inspected before leaving and sealed. When they stopped to drop off some National Guard members, TSA herded them all off the plane and made them go through security where they confiscated a Leatherman tool and a pair of nail clippers!

Read the story of the soldiers before and I think it illustrates best the complete lack of logic or rationality involved in administrating these security measures. It reminds me of the Zero Tolerance policies that expels a 6 year old because his Mom put a butter knife or forgot a butter knife in his lunch box to spread jam on his or her bread.
Or charging a 6 year old boy with sexual assault for giving a peck on the cheek or a hug to a little girl and calling in the cops who actually arrested the 6 year old and a prosecutor who actually brought it before the court !. ( Yes this has happened also )
What is even more disturbing is when equally insane interpretation of the rules forbid checking for or stopping real threats.
I despair at times about how the World is run by insane people and the most obvious use of minimum common sense is trumped by rigid following of rules that where never thought through for all the potential unintended consequences ! The rules ended up increasing the danger rather than decreasing them !
Being rational or logical seems to be not part of the job description of many Politicians or Bureaucrats LOL !

My son was suspended from school at 6 when he kissed a girl. That’s when I knew the world was officially insane.
Conservative or Liberal or NDP or anything else would probably be close to the same if having sane and logical reality based policies was the norm rather than the rarity and if we added respect for individual freedom and limited the nanny state mentality ….. well, maybe I’m contradicting myself here since most of Left Wing ideas tend to the pie in the ski, free lunch and Momma knows better varieties … LOL.
Or in short: Yup officially insane ! But the ones ending up in a strait jacket or padded room are the sane people.
