This is the first, and last, Friday Photography People Edition. A lot of readers have asked me why I never show images with people in them. Well, the reason is fairly simple. Because it’s insanely subjective, time-consuming, and difficult. Finding beauty in photographs of people can be so utterly intangible that it’s ridiculous.
With photos of children, the portraits tend to be idealized and innocent on purpose. Similarly with women, while they can have incredible superficial beauty, most of them moon for the camera, or are hypersexualized in some way. I don’t mind nude photography, but this blog isn’t really the place for interpretive photo art.
What I’ve selected is a handful of people images that I found intriguing in some way. I hope you enjoy them as well.

My Favorite is the young boys chasing the chickens. Looks like they are having a fantastic time.
I like that one as well. There’s something very “real” about such a moment. A timelessness about it that transcends all cultures and eras.
The last one reminded me of good friend and uncle who passed away.
I think you should do more like this as well as the landscapes, and also add in some man made landscapes like great bridges, dams, highways. (I am in the civil eng. field)
My wife and I always enjoy your pictures. I have one of your water-fall pics as my desktop.
Thanks
My wife likes the last picture as well. He was my first choice when I decided to put this together.
