Well worth the listen: seven days a week, 2100-0100 Eastern Time, “Listen Live” top right here. No callers, just discussion with single guests or panels covering things American, international, political, economic, etc. Certainly a strong conservative view (not from all guests), but sharp and witty rather than bashing and bruising.
“On-Demand” here, sample from Monday, Aug. 23 to give an idea of the show’s range:

Mr Batchelor’s personal website here (motto: “Known Unknowns”) with posts and commenting.
Anyone remember Cousin Brucie? And, upstate, Joey Reynolds? “Sports! Sports! Sports! New York 6, Cleveland 4, Boston 8!” A lot depended on atmospherics in those days.

Do you have anything like this for Canada?
I’ve got the National Post Podcast which is unfortunately quite infrequent and The Agenda with Steve Paikin.
Is WABC in Albany and isn’t this the station that Wolfman Jack broadcast from way back when?
I pickup John Batchelor by accessing the site “talkstreamlive”. He has a calm, reasoned style and is always informative. Cheers.
WABC: NYC.
Wolfman Jack (never heard, atmospherics you know):

Nothing like it in Canada, but then there’s nothing like NYC. You might try Rob Breakenridge, “The World Tonight with Rob Breakenridge”, CHQR, Calgary:

Adrian’s been on:

My preference is Dennis Prager. He’s calm and rational. He talks about everything. His website is http://www.dennisprager.com. Unfortunately you have to pay to get his podcasts. Here’s some older samples from townhall.com

You can also access Batchelor’s show from iTunes. That’s how I listen to it every day!
Did I write something inappropriate, or is there some other reason why my comment is still awaiting moderation? Just curious.
Comments with 4 links are auto-queued for spam. I removed it from spam, but sometimes it gets lagged in the moderation.
Issachar, my favourite Canadian talk radio hosts are Charles Adler and Roy Green. Charles Adler is on weekdays and Green is on Saturday and Sunday. You might want to google their names and see what you come up with. I get my feed from Charles Adler’s Winnipeg site. Their programs are archived so you can listen to anything you might have missed.
I also listen to talk radio via the Internet from stations in Montana and California. Prager, Hewitt, Dennis Miller, Glenn Beck, Dr. Laura (for the time being, anyway). No paywall to worry about, but on the other hand, no archives, either.
I luuuuv the Internet. So much to listen to. So little time. And hey, I remember Wolfman Jack. I sure miss him.
And another good one from the US is Ricochet. It features Mark Steyn and others with a weekly hour to an hour and half long talk about politics.
I see. I’ll remember that.
