Boo to the Fisheries Minister for saying that Mr. Ignatieff should reign in Mr. Harb. So she'd prefer that MP's be trained seals for the leader? (Yes, I meant to do that.)

Mr. Ignatieff should say that Mr. Harb is an MP and not a trained seal so he can continue to make misguided calls to ban the seal hunt. Mr. Harb's private members bill is not Liberal policy anymore than some Conservative's private members bill to ban abortion would be Conservative policy.

I hope Mr. Ignatieff shows the fortitude to tell Ms. Shea to get stuffed, he's busy eating lunch.

Good for Mr. Ignatieff. Even better if he doesn't like seal meat. Canada needs a sealskin lululemon or a sealskin roots to make wearing seal cool.

I'm not sure why we can't support this industry in the form of a 'Made in Canada' way. I certainly would scamper to the sea food store as I do for Lobster and scampi to support this industry. I would buy their clothing product in a heartbeat, pushing aside the animal activists that do nothing but suck the life out of viable businesses that provide warm winter wear in a cold northern climate.

If we start at home first, ignoring the EU hypocrisies, perhaps they would simmer down and sneak over a few pelts and meat products in time.

To Iggy, seal meat must taste the same as budget meat - he may not like it, but down the hatch it goes anyway.

Hilarious picture...

The thumb up...the smile precariously verging on disgusted grimace...

Priceless. This picture will be used by Iggy-questioning pundits for the rest of his political career.

Hey Wilson,

You notice his thumb is up before the food is in his mouth? That's called preemptive approval.
