So I guess Australia does not have principles and does not follow its international obligations. What a stupid insult. The Mickster (a mighty “public intellectual“!) really should think before he bloviates. As for the Charter, indeed Australia does not have a specific equivalent–which may be a really Good Thing. But the country is not without legal protections for individual rights and so on; see here, Democratic rights and freedoms.
And would Mickey I. have the guts to say “This is Canada, not China…”?

If my information is correct (from anonymous sources), the Liberals are planning to install welcome centres at all ports of entry for ships. These centres will be modeled on the welcome programs for docking cruise ships that land in Hawaii. Instead of dancing hula girls we will have parka clad Liberal MPs complete with long johns. The new arrivals will be welcomed with garlands of Liberal red ice cubes as they are presented with welfare cheques, one year vouchers for lodging at the hotel of their choice and a handbook detailing how to milk the system for more freebies and instructions on how to bring their relatives to this country without waiting for the bothersome red tape required for legal entry.
As long as the Tamils settle in Toronto,
their best friends will be in the LPC.

The fact that most of us here are not original people Canadian Goverment open up door to bring in immigrants to work and live here. Share this land to them too( Tamil Tigers), that’s the Canadian goverment headache if it doesn’t work fine..They are humans like us as well..
